The Tournament Players Club at Craig Ranch stands as the breath-taking
centerpiece of this “New Urban” development. Designed
by Tom Weiskopf, the course skillfully engages the beautiful, gently
rolling hills and mature woods surrounding the limestone banks
of Rowlett Creek.
From hole to hole, natural aesthetics of the
land frame each shot, testing the player’s skill, while providing
a memorable experience. Multiple tee areas and challenging, bent
grass greens emphasize
strategic thinking and accurate shot-making.
The par 72 course covers 7,438 yards from the PGA TOUR tees and
includes a dual-ended driving range, short game practice area, and
putting greens.
The TPC Craig Ranch was recently awarded
the second highest course rating in America by the USGA. It is
currently has the highest
USGA course rating in the Tournament Players Club network, which
includes more than 30 world-class clubs internationally.
The PGA
TOUR and local organizations host more than 172 PGA TOUR, Champions
Tour, and Nationwide Tour events each year. Proceeds
from TOUR events benefit local charities and will exceed $80,000,000
in 2004.
